Now that's just Goofy! Daath, who will be hitting the road with Dragonforce and Cynic next month, have been banned from playing the House of Blues in Anaheim, California. The April 15 date will continue without Daath who will rejoin the trek on April 17 in Boise, Idaho. The House of Blues venue is on property owned by the Walt Disney Corporation and the venue must green-light all bands who are scheduled to perform there. Daath was not approved to play the show for undisclosed reasons.more

Meliah Rage has announced that founding member Anthony Nichols has composed the music for three tracks on the upcoming solo record being released by Metal Church front man Ronny Munroe. "After the 07 tour, I asked Ronny to make a guest appearance on the next Meliah Rage record," reported Nichols. "We flew him out last year and he sang on the song Last Rites, which will be on Meliah Rage's upcoming record "Masquerade" (due out spring, 2009). "That experience turned out to be highly positive, and lead Munroe to ask me about contributing some music for his solo project," added Nichols. more
