What you hear on this CD is pure and serious play as three creative and talented musicians abandon all orthodoxy and, like the flocking of birds, allow natural and organic organizing principles to govern the structure and evolution of their play.

The schedule was intense, with four recording sessions over 48 hours. The trio replenished themselves between recordings with food, swimming and viewing DVDs on such subjects as Harry Partch and Glen Gould and an array of Adult Swim episodes. Each of the recording sessions seemed to improve on the previous one. By the end, they felt confident they had a CD in the hard drive.

"This is where I close my eyes…about two seconds into the first track. I've listened back to these recordings numerous times since they were imprinted, sometimes to tape, sometimes to digital ones and zeroes. Always the same…somehow never repeated… the eyelids pulled by gravity – awaiting the various colors and changing scenes. 'Dreaming of Daybreak', 'A Long Way From Home' and 'Savor the Fall' all seem to bring to life the images of the triptych of the (possible – though not quite sure) namesake, H. Bosch. There are sounds enveloped, crushed, shimmering, swallowed, blessed and cursed within this album. Before I know it I am hearing the hallucinogenic fairground that is 'No Carnival Complete'. Where did I end up? In Turkey with a snake charmer conducting a whirling waltz spiraling out of control until it diminishes…..? This time, yes…..next time, who knows. It was quite a transcendental experience to create this music with these others. You have to let go to gain control. Destination reached by wanderlust.
