Of course, the folks at the labels who are responsible for signing the acts will most likely point their fingers at "downloaders" as the culprit and not the lack of music that people actually want to buy. That might have something to do with it, especially coming at the end of the decade which probably had the least musical innovation since the advent of Rock and Roll. - Look back at the top sellers for the year and see if you can spot any innovative NEWER acts?
