. Little Feat Richie Hayward Dies was a top 10 story this week . Here is the recap: Rock Radio had this sad news on Thursday: Little Feat drummer Richie Hayward has died of liver disease at 64, it's been confirmed.

He'd been with the band since it formed in 1969, before which he'd been a member of the Factory with Little Feat's first frontman Lowell George.

The southern rock outfit split in 1978 after George's death, but got back together nine years later. Hayward had remained in the band until last year, when his health deteriorated to the point he could no longer tour. - more on this story
