Eagle Rock celebrates the 30-year anniversary of a historic concert before a still-divided Berlin. Barclay James Harvest: Berlin A Concert For The People will be released August 31.

Formed in England in the sixties, Barclay James Harvest experimented with orchestral elements to create their signature sound, fusing rock with classical music.

This DVD is a perfect display of their aural power, showcasing their grand, sweeping keyboard lines, mighty melodies, and synched musicianship. For American fans that never got a taste of this stellar rock band, Barclay James Harvest: Berlin A Concert For The People is an ideal introduction.

Barclay James Harvest created a huge stir as one of the most popular acts in Germany throughout the seventies, and they realized they could never reach the heights they did without their adoring fans. On August 30, 1980, when the Berlin Wall still separated Germany's capital city, Barclay James Harvest presented this free concert in front of parliament building the Reichstag. Performing tracks from their soon-to-be-released Turn of the Tide album, in addition to classics plucked from across their career, they happily honored the 250,000 fans in attendance. This truly was A Concert For The People.

In addition to this set, the DVD boasts a 5-track bonus feature. This 1975 promotional film, "Time Honoured Tales," is a performance of tunes from their 1975 Time Honoured Ghosts album.
