Boyce Avenue Announce Major Label Debut

03/12/2010
.
Boyce Avenue, the Florida-based trio consisting of brothers Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and Daniel Manzano (bass, percussion, vocals) release their self-produced major label debut entitled All We Have Left on May 11, 2010, through Universal Republic Records.

Singer/guitarist Alejandro Manzano comments, "It's been a long-time goal of ours to release a full-length debut album worldwide, with all of our music on it the way we've always wanted the world to hear it. We feel this album is the kind of release our fans deserve. We couldn't be happier to be a part of the Universal Republic family at this time."

The album's first single, "Every Breath," will be released digitally on March 16, 2010. The band recently shot a video for the song in Los Angeles with acclaimed director Zach Merck (Blue October, Safetysuit) and was a collaborative effort that grew from a concept written by the band.

Boyce Avenue recently returned from their second tour of the Philippines and are currently on their second headline tour of Europe, playing to sold-out and near capacity crowds in Germany and Austria. Shows in Switzerland, France, and the UK are forthcoming, with indications of more sold-out shows to come.

Today the band announces the first leg of its upcoming US headline tour, kicking off in Vienna, VA on May 19th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 12th.

The upcoming tour will be the band's second headline tour of the US. Bassist Daniel Manzano notes, "Last summer, we did our first US headline tour, and it was a really eye-opening experience. We always knew our fans online were die-hard, but it was still really touching and inspiring to see them come out and support us in such strong numbers. For us, that connection with fans at a live show is irreplaceable." Guitarist Fabian Manzano adds, "We've had amazing fortune in being able to tour internationally this early in our career, but we also really can't wait to go back out and play for all of our fans here in the States. Our first ever full-blown tour was in the United States, and we think things will be even more fun and exciting this summer when we head back out to see everyone and play some songs from the new album."

Boyce Avenue shot to immediate underground fame after acoustic versions of their live performances of original songs and covers surfaced on YouTube a little over two years ago. Their homemade videos of songs such as Justin Timberlake's "Love Stoned", Rihanna's "Umbrella", and Coldplay's "Viva la Vida", among many others, quickly became viral sensations. And today, Boyce Avenue's original and cover videos have collectively garnered over 165,000,000 views, making their channel one of the most watched destinations on the site worldwide.
