KISS Army Turns 35

(hennemusic) The KISS ARMY turns 35 this Sunday. To mark the anniversary, KA co-founder Bill Starkey will be spinning KISS tunes as a guest DJ on 105.5 The River in Terre Haute, Indiana - the town where it all began.

November 21, 1975 marks its "unofficial" start date in Terre Haute, but things really began for Starkey a year earlier.

On December 8, 1974, Starkey saw KISS open for ZZ Top at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Indiana, and was blown away; he left the show vowing to spread the word about the band. - more on this story
