(PAM) Celtic Thunder have set a February 19th, 2013 release date for Mythology, the new CD and companion DVD project.
The new show was produced by Sharon Browne; the Mythology album was produced by David Munro, Musical Director and Composer.The release of Mythology will be backed by a major North American tour, which will travel to 65 cities coast to coast in both Canada and the U.S.
During the tour The Celtic Thunder Cruise will sail for five days throughout the Caribbean, departing Miami on November 2nd, 2013. In addition to the six main vocalists, the tour will also feature strings, guitar, percussion, whistles, pipes, guitars and more in the eight- piece Celtic Thunder band. The tour's musical director is David Munro, who also plays keyboards in the show.
A television special surrounding the Mythology tour will begin airing nationally on February 28, 2013. Celtic Thunder has become one of public television's largest draws. In terms of viewers, their shows have aired over 16,000 times on Public Television. The group is among the top five audience-generating acts on the network.
