Hurt and Smile Empty Soul Record Alice in Chains Classic

(Banana 101.5) Hurt and Smile Empty Soul recently hit the studio to record a cover of the Alice in Chains' classic 'No Excuses' together and you can hear it online.

On the day before their November 2nd gig at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan, Hurt and Smile Empty Soul headed to Rochester Hills' 37 Studios. Along with producer Matt Dalton known for his work with a plethora of local and national acts including Frequency 54 and Chiodos/D.R.U.G.S. frontman Craig Owens the two bands decided to tackle the Alice in Chains track, 'No Excuses.'

The mostly acoustic track, originally found on Alice in Chains' celebrated 'Jar of Flies' EP, can be heard here.
