Maynard James Keenan Says Tool Moving Forward On New Music

(TeamRock Radio) Maynard James Keenan is sidestepping any blame over Tool fans long wait for new music. Their last album was 2006's 10,000 Days. Since then, various band members have offered various reasons for why a follow-up hasn't appeared.

Guitarist Adam Jones recently admitted it was "hard" getting together to write, saying: "We live kind of cushy lives now, so we get together when we want. It makes everything go slow, which is unfortunate."

Now frontman Keenan has hinted things are finally moving but only because he's been leaning on his bandmates. He says: "I'm going to stop by the rehearsal space today, having beaten them up, going, 'Please give me music. Please give me music. Please give me music. Please give me music. Please give me music.' more on this story
