Icona Pop have been forced to postpone four shows of their current North American tour after Aino Jawo's doctor ordered her to rest due to an undisclosed illness.

The group was forced to postpone tonight's show in Los Angeles, tomorrow night's show in San Francisco, Saturday's show in Seattle and next Tuesday's show in Vancouver, BC.

The tour will resume next Friday, September 6th in Salt Lake City. The group announced that they will be making another announcement soon for fans that have tickets to the postponed dates.

The group's representative sent over these comments from Caroline Hjelt, "We cannot tell you how sad we are and how much these shows meant to us.

"Our fans are so important to us and we live to perform on stage for you each night. We promise we'll be back and will see you soon! In the meantime, please send lots of love and good energy Aino's way!"

The group posted a photo apology to fans on the cities where the shows were postponed. You can view the photo on Intagram here.
