Justin Bieber Teams with Tyga For 'Wait For a Minute' Video
. In an interview with MTV News earlier this year, Tyga explained how the song came about. While the "Rack City" rapper came to release the track as the first single from his upcoming The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, "Wait For a Minute" was originally set for Bieber's album. Tyga said "Wait For a Minute" reminds him of his collaboration with Chris Brown on their No. 1 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop song "Deuces." He credits Bieber for the song's grown-up vibe. "He's in his transition period," Tyga said of Bieber. "I felt like when me and Chris did 'Deuces,' it was a moment, so I felt like this would be a big moment for both of us with this song," he said. The Krista Liney-directed clip involves freezing time, fighting the paparazzi, and slow dancing in a castle. Clearly one of the year's most true-to-life videos.
