(Radio.com) Emblem3 are the latest band that have a reality singing competition to thank for their rising success. The Sequim, Washington, natives, made up of young brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and friend Drew Chadwich, auditioned last year for The X Factor.

Though they placed fourth in the fourth season of the U.S. show, Simon Cowell was so impressed that he offered them a deal with his label, Syco Records.

The trio moved to Huntington Beach, California, to pursue a career in music shortly before they decided to audition for the show. They began to see success on the Sunset Strip, winning battle of the bands competitions with their own material. This eventually convinced them to audition for X Factor with the first song they ever wrote, "Sunset Blvd."

A year removed from X Factor, Emblem3 have released the first music video for "Chloe (You're The One I Want)." The lead single off their forthcoming album (due out later this year), the radio-friendly track features Chadwich's rapid fire raps and a chorus that just begs for a sing-along.

The band worked with several A-list songwriters for their album including Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, fun.'s Jack Antonoff, and Kool Kojak who has worked with Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha. Emblem3 head on the road this fall with Selena Gomez for her Stars Dance Tour.
