Motorhead's Lemmy Changing Lifestyle Over Health Issues

(Classic Rock) Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell believes frontman Lemmy's hard-man act has contributed to his health woes. The Welshman thinks his bandmate's attitude made it more difficult for him to seek help when he needed it, and that's played a role in a series of show postponements.

Lemmy spent three weeks in hospital earlier this year, and most recently pushed back the band's UK tour in support of new album Aftershock. It will now take place next year.

"Lem had a pacemaker fitter earlier in the year because he's been suffering from irregular heartbeats, then his diabetes started playing up," Campbell tells Wales Online. "But his ticker's fine now and he's made sufficient changes to his lifestyle and diet in order to combat the diabetes." more on this story
