Marillion To Play Fairport Convention Fest

(Prog) Marillion and Al Stewart join Chas & Dave as the first acts to be announced for Fairport Convention's legendary Cropredy Festival that will take place next August.

Renowned as being the UK's friendliest little festival, and holding up to 20,000 in its picturesque rural setting, Cropredy's online box office will open on 8 December and tickets will be on sale until 18 December to guarantee pre-Christmas postal delivery to UK addresses.

The three-day event takes place annually with 2014′s dates being Thursday 7, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 August. This year the organisers have had Christmas in mind for festi-fans. Details here.
