Morrissey's Autobiography To Be Released At Long Last
However (and this is a big however), Autobiography will see the light of day in the U.K. and Europe on October 17 — still via Penguin Classics. Whatever this content disagreement was, it apparently was not enough to keep the book off the shelves in Moz's native continent. So, bootleg copies it is.
Little is known about the dispute with Penguin, which pushed back the release date, except a statement he gave last month to leading Moz fan site True to You: "Although Morrissey's Autobiography was set to be available throughout the UK on September 16th, a last-minute content disagreement between Penguin Books and Morrissey has caused the venture to collapse.
