Justin Bieber Releases First Music Monday Song 'Heartbreaker'

(Radio.com) Justin Bieber doesn't go back on his promises. Last week, he announced "Music Mondays," a 10-week series of brand new songs to be released by Bieber each week starting in October and continuing through December.

The first track, "Heartbreaker," dropped at midnight today (October 7), and is now available on iTunes. The slow jam recalls Justin Timberlake's early solo career with a distinct bass beat and some sultry falsetto. Mid-track Bieber switches gears from singing to a old-school talk-down a la Drake.

"So what I'm really trying to say is/ And what I hope you understand/ Is that despite all the imperfections of who I am I still want to be your man."

He adds: "Sometimes love goes from sunshine to rain/ But I'm under this umbrella and I'm calling your name." Listen here.
