Miley Cyrus Vs Sinead O'Connor In All-Out War Of Words (Recap)
. After O'Connor's original open letter to Cyrus went viral (see story here), Cyrus flippantly replied by posting a screengrab of desperate Tweets O'Connor sent out in the past asking for mental help and prescription medication, comparing her to actress Amanda Bynes, currently in rehab after a series of bizarre public meltdowns. Cyrus also tweeted out a photo of O'Connor's notorious Saturday Night Live appearance in 1992 when she famously ripped up a picture of the Pope while spitting out the words, "fight the real enemy." Sinead O'Connor did not take kindly to the Twitter replies, and posted a second open letter to Miley Cyrus via her Facebook page, where she lambasted the young pop singer, demanding that the offending Tweets be taken down or prepare to face legal action. "MileyReally? Who the f*ck is advising you?" O'Connor wrote. "Because taking me on is even more f*ckin' stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism. You have posted today tweets of mine which are two years old, which were posted by me when I was unwell and seeking help so as to make them look like they are recent," she added. "In doing so you mock myself and Amanda Bynes for having suffered with mental health issues and for having sought helpYou will yourself one day suffer such illness, that is without doubt. The course you have set yourself upon can only end in that, trust me." - more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
