Hugh Laurie Gets Blues Radio Show

(The Blues) Actor and blues musician Hugh Laurie will present a six-part series on the history and influence of blues music on BBC Radio 2, the broadcaster has confirmed.

The former star of US TV blockbuster House, who was previously better known in the UK as Stephen Fry's comedy partner, has received acclaim for the recent release of his second blues album, Didn't It Rain.

Hugh Laurie's Blues Changes is his first BBC radio series, and will include performances by his Copper Bottom Band as he charts his own history of musical discovery. more on this story
