(Radio.com) Danielle Bradbery is celebrating Memorial Day weekend in style, by performing on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on May 25. The country singer will headline the 25th anniversary of the National Memorial Day Concert on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., next month.

The lineup for the concert includes Bradbery, Colin Powell, actress Dianne Wiest, Broadway star Megan Hilty, bandleader Doc Severinsen and singers Jackie Evancho and Anthony Kearns performing with the National Symphony Orchestra. The show will be televised on PBS.

Radio.com caught up with The Voice winner at this month's ACM Awards before she performed outside the LINQ in Las Vegas to bring awareness to the 2014 Outnumber Hunger campaign. She talked to us about her new single, "Young In America" and the likelihood of a future duet with tourmate Hunter Hayes.

"I feel like it was perfect for coming into the summer," she said of "Young In America". "Everybody's going to be out on the water and the boat. It's one of those songs where you can jam out to when you're doing stuff outside. It's a really cool song, especially for girls my age, or anybody basically. You're young in America so have fun with it." more on this story
