Nicole Scherzinger Switches Gears On New Song On The Rocks (Recap)

.
On Wednesday Nicole Scherzinger Switches Gears On New Song On The Rocks was a top story. Here is the recap: (Radio.com) Nicole Scherzinger switches gears on her new ballad "On the Rocks," the followup to her previous club-ready track "Your Love." Here, the former Pussycat Doll laments of a failed relationship. Her way to get over it: have something strong on the rocks, maybe a few shots.

On the power ballad, Scherzinger warns her ex what goes around comes around. He broke her heart, so he's bound to get his shattered as well. "You never miss a good thing until it's gone," she sings as her ex is out there breaking hearts again.

It has been three years since Scherzinger's debut solo album, Killer Love. In an interview with Digital Spy, Scherzinger opened up about her forthcoming sophomore album.

"Because I've just worked with The Dream and Tricky and it is cohesive, we've created a sound," she told Digital Spy. "We found a sound. We found a Nicole sound. So when you hear a couple of the songs you'll be like, 'Woah, that doesn't sound like any other artist out there. Any other formula of song out there. Any other beat out there.' I feel like it's DNA'd to me."
