Galactic Release Collaboration With JJ Grey

(The Blues) New Orleans jazz-funk-blues jam band Galactic have released the song "Higher And Higher" which is their collaborative track with JJ Grey of Mofro fame.

It's taken from 2012 album Carnival Electricos, and continues their tradition of working with as many guest musicians as they can cram into their material.

The 18-year-old outfit are renowned for their Lunda Gras party shows, which lead into the renowned Mardi Gras events across the city. Ben Ellman, Robert Mercurio, Stanton Moore, Jeff Raines and Rich Vogel launch a US tour on February 28 with vocalist Maggie Koerner after having hit the road in the past with Living Colour frontman Corey Glover.
