Lamb Of God Movie Coming To Theaters

01/27/2014
.
(TeamRock Radio) Lamb Of God's documentary film As The Palaces Burn will be screened across the UK and Ireland on March 6th and in the U.S. beginning on February 27th, which follows the world premiere on February 16th at Philadelphia's Trocadero Theatre.

The movie is set to screen world wide at 350 theaters, including more than 70 venues in the UK. The original movie plan was derailed by frontman Randy Blythe's arrest in 2012 and manslaughter trial last year.

Despite the forced change in approach, guitarist Mark Morton says As The Palaces Burn is more about the fans than the band. He recently told Metal Hammer: "We wanted to flip the camera as we've met more of our fans, we've become fans of our fans.

"The idea was to introduce a bunch of our fans to each other and let them tell the stories they had to tell. We met some fascinating people that just happened to be fans of Lamb Of God, and it was refreshing because it wasn't really about us. It was a pretty unique idea." More including the trailer.
