Dierks Bentley Tops The Chart With Riser

Dierks Bentley enjoyed a big first week for his new studio album, "Riser," which has debuted in the No. 1 spot on top of the Billboard Country Albums Chart.

His camp reports that "Riser" has given Bentley his fifth No. 1 debut on the country chart. Billboard reports that the album gave Bentley his highest chart position on the Billboard 200 since his 2009 release "Feel That Fire" debuted at No. 3.

The album was the sixth largest selling album of the week, according to numbers published by Hits Double Daily, which shows that the album sold 57,315 copies during it's first week or release. Billboard reports that the album sold 63,000 copies, placing it at No. 6 on the Billboard 200.

Bentley is preparing to head overseas to perform at the Dublin and London's O2 arenas (3/14 and 3/15) which he will follow with the official launch of his 2014 RISER TOUR on May 9 in Charlotte, NC.

Fans can also catch Bentley on television later this month when CMT Crossroads: OneRepublic and Dierks Bentley premieres on March 21st at 9:00P CT on CMT.
