(Radio.com) In a newly released prank call, The Black Keys' Patrick Carney poses as the leader of The Quartzaziu, a new age group from Rhode Island. In the 5-minute clip Carney repeatedly calls the A&R departments of Nonesuch and Atlantic Records in an attempt to get his fledgling band signed to a four-album contract.

Carney drops various executives' names with the intent of confusing his unsuspecting victims. "We're supposed to bring our PA and lights and be there at 4:30," Carney says as he tries to convince one label employee to let his band audition live in the building.

"I will hold you personally responsible if we're not on the security list, Carney demands. "So, we're looking for a four album deal." Listen to it here.
