Lupe Fiasco Named Music Director for U.S. FIFA World Cup Campaign
As part of his new gig, Fiasco will create Spotify playlists and handle in-game music programming during the Send-Off Series. In return, U.S. Soccer will promote his new single, "Mission" which details the fight against cancer, during the series.
The rapper's inclusion also includes two major appearances, first showing up at the program's Fan Appreciation Day in New York on May 30. He'll follow it with a concert in Chicago on June 16 prior to the U.S. team's match against Ghana. more on this story
