Van Halen's David Lee Roth Explodes Over Thrown Beer

08/31/2015
.
(hennemusic) Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth called out an upset fan for throwing a beer onstage during the band's August 27 concert at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.

"Somebody just threw a beer up here," Roth told the audience as he stopped the group during the introduction to their 1981 "Fair Warning" track "Dirty Movies."

"In a younger day, I would've promised I would've slept with his girlfriend," continued Roth. "At this point in my career, the roughest, most f***ed insult I could probably make to this guy is that I probably already have slept with his wife."

The singer then spoke directly to the upset audience member's partner, saying, "Can you control that motherf***er? I'll talk to you later, sweetheart," before adding, "next time, you save the beer for me, you slime", while making an obscene gesture and flipping the guy the bird. Watch video of the incident here.
