Balloon Boy's Metal Band Releases 'No Hoax' Video

(Radio.com) Remember Falcon Heene? Probably not. But, in 2009, he captivated the world when his parents claimed a helium balloon had flown away with him inside. When the balloon crash landed, it was discovered that the boy was not inside, but hiding in the attic of his home. Eventually, the truth surfaced that the ploy for attention came from the boy's parents.

Well, these days, Falcon is now 12 and getting into music. Since his family relocated to Florida, Falcon and his brother have started a metal band, Heene Boyz.

And though you might expect the band to shy away from addressing Falcon's balloon boy past, instead the band addresses it straight away on the confusingly titled song "Balloon Boy No Hoax."

"[A promoter once told us] instead of hiding it, we should embrace it," Falcon's brother Bradford told CNN (via The Hollywood Reporter). "So we started writing melodies and thought, 'Dude, this fits. This sounds really cool.' So we went along with it." Watch the video here.
