At Least 112 Killed In Terrorist Attack At Eagles Of Death Metal Show (Top Story)
. Other media reports have placed the number of deaths at the music venue as high as 120. The attack on the concert venue appears to have been part of a coordinated series of attacks at various locations in Paris that has left at least 153 people dead, according to the CNN report. Police stormed the venue and Paris police spokesman Michel Cadot told France Info radio that four attackers were killed in the raid and three of those attackers were wearing explosive belts. French officials reportedly told CNN affiliate BFMTV that gunmen were still at large. One man that was at the concert described the attack to what appeared to be a French radio station and later broadcast on Fox News, "In the middle of the concert, these guys arrived, they started to shoot at the entrance. Then they were shooting at the crowd and crying 'Allahu Akbar' while they were shooting their guns, I believe. "The concert stopped, everyone was lying on the ground and they still continued to shoot... Damn, this is hell. Excuse me." He then went on to explain how he reacted and later how he and his mother escaped from the venue, "I grabbed my mom, we got down on the floor. I was on the floor with my mom and someone said 'they left,' and we fled. We ran across the street from Bataclan." Eagles of Death Metal drummer Julian Dorio's brother Michael spoke to CNN and told the media outlet that he heard from his brother about 20-30 minutes after the attack. Michael told them, "He said he had been performing and heard the gunshots. They stopped playing and hit the deck and went backstage and exited."
