Depeche Mode Classic Covered In 'Ghost In The Shell' Trailer
.
(Radio.com) The first trailer for Ghost In The Shell was released today and fans will find the trailer punctuated by music that is strangely familiar. The haunting song is Depeche Mode's 1990 hit "Enjoy The Silence" covered in cyberpunk style by Joel Burleson aka: Ki Theory. The trailer features Scarlett Johansson as Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic's advancements in cyber technology. The film is a live-action remake of the 1995 animated movie "Ghost In The Shell" which was inspired by the original seinen manga series (comics). Check out the Ghost In The Shell trailer, followed by Ki Theory's remix and Depeche Mode's original track here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
