Third Eye Blind Announce New EP, Stream First Song
.
(Radio.com) Third Eye Blind announced they'll be releasing a new six-song EP We Are Drugs this fall. The release follows up their 2015 studio album Dopamine. To give listeners a taste of what's to come, Third Eye Blind premiered We Are Drugs' first single, "Company of Strangers" Thursday (September 8). On the song, Stephan Jenkins details a new love interest who prefers life's emptier connections, and how her indifference affects him. The song begins quietly with guitar, drums and Jenkins' voice before building into an anthemic release on the chorus. "I like to live a life of danger/ I like holding on to the company of strangers," he repeats on the catchy hook, singing about the person he's attracted to and how life has warped her ability to make a meaningful moment with someone. We Are Drugs arrives digitally October 7. Listen to "Company of Strangers" here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
