(Radio.com) In June, singer Christina Grimmie was shot and killed by an attacker in Orlando, Florida, prompting an outpouring of grief and sadness from fans across the country. Grimmie came to prominence on television as a contestant on The Voice, and many expected the Television Academy to recognize her during its Emmy Awards "in memoriam" tribute.
