Former Slayer Drummer’s Systematic Future?
Despite several reports to the contrary
former Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph has NOT officially joined Systematic.
According to a spokesperson from Elektra Records, Bostaph has not been
hired on to fill the vacant drummer slot in the band. In a Dec 21st press
release Bostaph said that he decided to leave Slayer due to a chronic elbow
injury and he felt he was unable to continue performing to his fullest
potential and greatest intensity.
Paul Bostaph had played with Systematic’s

Systematic on New Year’s Eve for a radio-sponsored show in Modesto, California.
That appearance touched off rumors that he had joined the group.
At Press Time Systematic is still in search
of a replacement for departed drummer Shaun Bannon, who left the group
