When Scott Spezio isn’t helping his team the Anaheim Angels win on the baseball field he spends some of that time jamming with his band Sandfrog, a group that Launch media describes as, “a metal- and grunge-minded sextet”. 

Spezio was asked to perform during the November 1st episode of Fox Sports Net’s “The Best Damn Sports Show Period!” The only problem is his band is unavailable, no worries, when you are a world champion you don’t have to look far to get a little help your friends. His backing band for the show will be none other than Ozzy Osbourne/ Black Label Society’s Zakk Wylde, former Alice in Chains and Ozzy Osbourne bassist Mike Inez and drummer  John Tempesta (Exodus, Testament, White Zombie.)
