Tyler Burnett Review

.
This seven-song EP kicks off with "Jealousy," a pretty decent taste of the music of the band. The guitar in this song reminds me of Mark Knopfler. The band follows "Jealousy" with "le Mint." Both of these songs (especially the B3 in "Le Mint") have a sort of vintage feel to them. The band creates an interesting mood in "So On," bouncing between a mellow Beechwood Sparks vibe and frenetic instrumentation not unlike Grand Funk.

The band shows some pretty good chops in these seven songs. They are a tight band with some influences in roots rock. They produce a pretty big sound for a trio. The lyrics get a little mundane in the last couple songs, but overall this is a real solid effort with strong instrumentation and a fairly big sound. This is definitely one to check out if you are a fan of guitar-driven roots rock.
