The Tuesday Suits sound like a retro-rock
garage-punk band with a splash of modern rock and Britpop. These
melancholy songs about damaged relationships aren't exactly mind-blowing
but the lyricist does shows signs of good imagery (tracing on his
mattress where his girlfriend used to sleep), sarcasm, and wit (My first
mistake was/I never should have said/That she was very good in bed), and
the band knows some good melodies without dumbing down to appease the ponk
crowd.

The Tuesday Suits are one of the best bands I've seen in the clubs of NYC in a little while. I got the CD at one of the shows and think the energy of their live show comes through when recorded. If any new band deserves a shot, it's these guys. They're just as good as anything new on the radio or on MTV. Give it a listen and form your own opinions, these are just mine...

I think The Tuesday Suits are a really good band. I bought their CD at one of their shows and really like it. Slowly and My First Mistake are as good as anything I'm hearing on the radio. They kinda remind me of The Replacements. Definately a band to look out for.
