Franz Ferdinand, Belle and Sebastian, Snow Patrol and Primal Scream are contributing songs to the collection, with all proceeds going to local children's charities.
Belle and Sebastian trumpeter Mick Cooke came up with the idea after he was personally asked to write songs for a charity album. He then decided to approach fellow Scottish indie bands.[see full story for more]
