A Different Take on Metallica

(PR) Classically trained harp duo HARPTALLICA have released their self-produced debut, "Harptallica - A Tribute" on iTunes to coincide with the completion of the full-length CD. Tour dates are to be announced across the Midwest and East Coast in September.

Ashley Toman and Patricia Kline, both recipients of Master of Music Degrees from Rochester, NY's Eastman School of Music, formed Harptallica originally to perform a series of arrangements based on the music of Metallica.

The duo's arrangements bring the famed metal band's songs into a new light, illuminating the comfortable transition metal makes into classical music theory and opening those songs to a wider array of listeners.
