Demi Lovato's Producers Deny Sleigh Bells' Sampling Accusation

(Radio.com) After hearing Demi Lovato's bonus track "Stars" on her newest album Confident, indie rock duo Sleigh Bells tweeted that she hadn't cleared permission to use what sounded like samples from two of the band's songs, "Infinity Guitars" and "Riot Rhythm."

Demi Lovato's producers Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub have issued a statement to Billboard, explaining, "We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato's song 'Stars.'

"Demi was also not involved with the production. She only wrote top line." The production, they said, had nothing to do with samples from Sleigh Bells' music or any band's for that matter. Read more here.
