Pixies Announce Warm-Up Club Mini-Tour
.
Some lucky Pixies fans in a handful of California cities will have the opportunity to see the band perform at music clubs when the group embarks on a warm-up mini tour later this month. The dates will precede the band's launch of their world tour in support of their brand new album "Head Carrier" and will begin on October 25th in Santa Cruz and will include shows in Sacramento, San Luis Obispo and Ventura. Black Francis had this to say about the short trek, "We haven't been on the road for about a year and a half, so doing these warm up dates will be a lot of fun. "We're all very proud of the new album and are looking forward to playing some of the new songs live. We had a great time making 'Head Carrier' and are really happy about a lot of the feedback it's gotten. Having Paz in the band has been great, she's brought a whole new energy and made things fun again, and we're excited about continuing to make more new music." Pixies California Warm Up Tour Dates:
