Beanie Shot
antiMusic reports: Rapper Beanie Sigel was shot during an attempted robbery early Thursday on the street that inspired his stage name. Details are sketchy, the controversial rapper was reportedly treated for a gun shot wound at the University of Philadelphia hospital and released.

E! online says that a police report states that Beanie "was getting in his car at the intersection of 22nd and Sigel streets when he was cornered by five men in two cars who tried to rob him at around 7 a.m. …one of the men pulled a gun and fired off two rounds, one of which struck the emcee in his upper left arm." Starbucks Vs iTunes?
antiMusic reports: Wanna pay four bucks for a 50 Cent song? You may soon be in luck as Starbucks is reportedly looking to take on iTunes in the digital music sales arena. The java giant is supposedly looking into ways to offer music download sales at their stores. According to Vnunet.com part of that strategy would be to utilize their in-store wireless hotspots.

Starbucks Entertainment President Ken Lombard (yes they have an entertainment president) recently said in a speech, "Customers want to bring their devices into our stores. We don't have a solution today, but we are committed to finding one". Mocha decaf emo latte anyone? - Click Here for the Full Story

According to our friends at thetripwire you can now buy your very own Sex Pistols dolls! That's right, move over Raggedy Ann cuz Mr Rotten is bringing the punk anarchy to your playroom! You can check out a photo of the vicious Barbie killers and get more info at the full story link! [it was probably punk rock like sarcasm like this (and Clay Aiken jokes) that caused Google to censor us… down with Big Brother.. use Yahoo News instead at least you can tell their ads from their content and you get better results instead 3000 copies of the same AP story. Now that's punk rock!] - Click Here for the Full Story

CBS Vs Stern Update
antiMusic reports: Howard Stern and CBS Radio are reportedly about to bury the hatchet. CBS filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the self-proclaimed King of All Media shortly after he fled their airwaves for the greener (as in money) pastures of satellite radio. Both sides have reportedly reached an out of court settlement but have yet to sign off on the deal-- Literally. Both sides told the press that the agreement has not yet been signed and when it is they will issue their statements (mostly like stating how they won out). So if you care to know more details, the fine folks at FMQB as always have all the radio related 411 you can handle about this story and more… click that full story link to tune in to that. - Click Here for the Full Story

Kanye West Song Theft?
hecklerspray reports: Copyright lawsuits aren't all that common in the world of hip-hop. Rappers don't tend to hear songs and say "Wait, this track is all about guns and bitches. But I've got a track about guns and bitches too, the copying bastards."

But hip-hop copyright lawsuits do happen. And one is happening now, in fact - New Jersey group IOF claim that Kanye West and Ludacris ripped off one of their songs and turned it into Stand Up, a hit from three years ago. Thank god we're not on the jury, all this young people's music is all bang bang bang to us. We didn't even know if David Bowie was a boy or a girl until someone told us last week. Jesus Loves Madonna
Hecklerspray reports: Christian groups got all angry at Madonna for seemingly taking the piss out of Jesus during the show, while the majority of sensible people saw it as a welcome respite - it is, after all, the first Madonna publicity stunt for ages that didn't involve seeing an old lady rolling about the floor with her fanny hanging out. But what did Jesus think of Madonna's stunt?

He's OK with it, apparently, and not mad at Madonna at all. That's according to Madonna, at least.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

It was an unforgettable night with David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony down south in Hot ‘Lanta as they joined us long ago in 1984 to promote the album of the same name[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
