Seven Mary MP3
PR reports: Seven Mary Three released their sixth album Day&Nightdriving on February 19, 2008 and have offered us up a lil taste with an mp3 of the track "She Wants Results".

Co-produced by Brian Paulson (Wilco, Son Volt, Beck) and the band's Ross and guitarist Thomas Juliano, Day&Nightdriving reflects a return to Seven Mary Three's pared down origins, having recorded their first album in a basement while attending the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

The album is a highly personal, reflective, yet raw and uncompromisingly honest work about reconciling a career in a rock group with home life and balancing commitments to bandmates and those of family. - Check out "She Wants Results"

Britny Fox Still Around and With A New Lineup
PR reports: In light of the recent defamatory claims, allegations and all out negative press circulating earlier in the week, original member and bassist Billy Childs, plus the 2007 lineup of guitarist Greg Polcari and drummer Henry, along with new frontman and rhythm guitarist Jamie Fletcher will carry on as the hard rock group known as BRITNY FOX.

BRITNY FOX has retained the new management and booking services of Lane Productions and has inked a new deal with the independent label CHAVIS RECORDS. Through these partnerships the team was able to do what was necessary and in the best interest of Billy Childs. There is nothing being handed to BRITNY FOX on a "silver platter", "no rebirth", no skyrocketing BRITNY FOX "back in the limelight", "no robbing or deceiving anyone of anything", and "no infringement upon anyones anything". BRITNY FOX is simply moving forward as a band playing the songs BRITNY FOX is widely known for, coupled with a few that we're not hits but represent what BRITNY FOX was, is and will continue to be.

BRITNY FOX is currently in rehearsals with new vocalist Jamie Fletcher for the upcoming 2008 tour which kicks off on March 21, 2008. - more on this story

Oscar G Sets Release
PR reports: On April 22, legendary NYC underground house label Nervous Records will release Oscar G's first-ever original artist CD, INNOV8.

As one-half of landmark Miami-based Murk (along with partner Ralph Falcon), Oscar G. is known as one of the most versatile talents in all of dance music. Over the years, he's produced some of dance music's all-time biggest hits while also fashioning a style all his own as a DJ. With DJing and producing holding an equal level of importance in defining Oscar's talent, he created an artist CD that perfectly reflects both sides of the story. INNOV8 is an album of all original material that Oscar G personally wrote, but also arranged, mixed and programmed as a DJ set. It's a spectacular mix of original song segments, loops, samples, edits, effects and mixed grooves created from the eight original songs featured on the album.

Machiavellian Inked
PR reports: Skelmersdale England's death-thrash outfit Machiavellian has officially signed with Year of the Sun Records for the release of their upcoming debut four song EP, "The Impossibility of Death in the Minds of the Living". The album will see release through the label on April 29th, 2008. Machiavellian marks the first international signing by the Canadian label.

"We couldn't be more proud to be part of the Year of the Sun roster," says Machiavellian bassist Ant Hurlock. "For a band from a small town that no one had ever heard of we have come a long way. It's amazing to see that our hard work is finally being recognized and we can only hope we continue to receive recognition both from the EP and from our upcoming live shows. I can't wait to see what people think of the EP and what people make of us as a band."

Recorded at Foel Studios in Wales with producer Chris Fielding (Primordial, Napalm Death, Raging Speedhorn), "The Impossibility of Death in the Minds of the Living" was mastered by Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir). The group's eclectic sound fuses together all the sub-genres of metal, death and thrash with hints of doom and stoner rock. The upcoming EP prompted Zero Tolerance Magazine to hail the band as 'one of the most promising UK bands on the scene today.' The band's explosive live show has earned them high profile opening slots for Job For A Cowboy, Misery Index, Dry Kill Logic, Sikth, Skinlab and Bring Me The Horizon. - Machiavellian is currently previewing demo tracks from their upcoming new EP online

.... HellYeah Live

The 4th Severe Torture outing represents technical death metal at fatal limits. However, there must be more activity in order for an album like this to vitally function, and that's the only thing these Dutch cannibals forgot when forging such an expendable album. - Read the full Severe Torture - Sworn Vengeance review
