Danny Ross Release Party

06/21/07
.
(PR) It was just another Monday night for Danny Ross. Happily crooning Beatles-like melodies, arranging electric guitars with piano, and locking in the drums and bass, Ross was preparing his band for a summer tour of beer-drenched music clubs across New York City. By the time he left the sweaty rehearsal space in Brooklyn, his voice was shot and ears were ringing. Still, back in his downtown apartment, Ross planned to blog on his website, run piano scales and jot down lyric ideas before calling it a night.

But from nine to five, Danny Ross lives a very different life. As a staffer for United States Congressman Jerrold Nadler, you would hardly recognize the twenty-two year old singer-songwriter from Long Island. Sorting through invitations, maintaining the Representative's schedule and coordinating the office operations in a clean shirt and tie, Danny Ross is your tax money at work.

Ross describes his music as "piano-pop rocked out. Think Ben Folds meets rock n roll." Self-taught on piano, he's also an expressive singer, guitarist and disciplined songwriter. With more than 10,000 MySpace plays, and on the verge of releasing his first album, Introducing Danny Ross!, the young musician plans to celebrate with a Record Release Show on Saturday, June 30 th 8PM at The Bitter End in Manhattan's West Village. You'll be sure to find congressional staffers singing along. - Click here for the Full Story
