(hennemusic) Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood has revealed that he is recovering following surgery to remove a small lesion from his lungs that was discovered during a routine screening. The rocker - who turns 70 next week - is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the band's fall European tour as no additional treatment is necessary. "I'm so grateful for modern screening which picked this up so early," Wood said of the discovery and medical procedure, "and would like to thank all the doctors who treated me."
