Late Megadeth Icon Nick Menza Tribute Event This Weekend

Late Megadeth Rush In Peace era drummer Nick Menza will be celebrated at a special event this Sunday, April 22 at the Lucky Strike Live in Los Angeles. The event has been dubbed The Nick Menza Chronicles A Celebration of Life on Canvas, Wood and Heavy Metal with all proceeds going to Nick's sons exclusively, including future sales of CD's, art and merchandise, as well as a DVD of this performance. The show will feature live performances from acts like Elsie Binx, Emeralde, Von Skeletor, Deltanaut, Soma And The Green w/ Gary Mac, OHM w/ Chris Poland (original Megadeath lead guitarist), Bullet Boys w/ Marq Torien, Joe Floyd and Roy Z. from Halford, Bruce Dickenson, Warrior, & Driver, Love / Hate w/ Jon E., Rhoads w/ Kelle Rhoads, and more The Menza family will also exclusively open up the Mega vault and auction off the late drummers personal and private collection of signed Megadeth memorabilia and original acrylic paintings created by Menza himself. Up for auction are some Very one of a kind items from Menza's personal stash of Megadeth year's gone by. His custom Megadeth leather motorcycle jacket that Menza was seen wearing during the 1990's Rust in Peace tour and many photo shoots. Very rare, one of kind brown suede vest Nick wore during the 1994 Youthanasia photo shoot, donated by Jimi Austin and signed by Dave Mustaine, signed custom - made Megadeth Cryptic Writings board-shorts, signed Countdown to Extinction hat, signed VIP MEGADETH backstage tour laminates, tour books and personal SOULTONE Cymbal Baseball Jersey, and more The event will stream live, exclusively @ 5:00 pm PST through the official Nick Menza Facebook page where fans Worldwide will have an opportunity to own a piece of Megadeth history and bid on the auction.
