Suge Knight Believes That Tupac May Still Be Alive

(Radio.com) Rap fans have long theorized that Tupac Shakur never really died. Now, Suge Knight has thrown more fuel on that fire in a new interview where he suggested that the rapper is indeed still among the living.

The incarcerated Knight made the explosive claims from behind bars of the L.A. County Jail during a telephone interview with Ice-T and journalist Soledad O'Brien during filming for the upcoming FOX TV special, Who Shot Biggie and Tupac?

"When Pac died -- I mean, if he really did, you know," Knight said in an advance clip from the show about the last time he saw the rapper after being shot in Las Vegas. "I mean, when I left that hospital, me and Pac was laughing and joking. So I don't see how somebody can turn from doing well to doing bad. I'm gonna tell you that with Pac, you never know."

Who Shot Biggie and Tupac? is set to air this Sunday, Sept. 24. See the clip here.

Migos' Offset Speaks On Cardi B's Alleged Assault By Police

(Radio.com) Cardi B tweeted that she was placed in a chokehold by an NYPD officer Tuesday night. She didn't provide any further details other than to confirm that the policeman who allegedly assaulted her was white. The tweets have since been deleted.

The artist's boyfriend, Migos' Offset, talked to TMZ's Harvey Levin about an alleged assault on his girlfriend by an NYPD officer. The Migos member said, "At first, when she called, I ain't think she was being serious until I had seen it on her face."

"I don't know what happened but, I know you can't stop the police," he continued. "The police kill people every day and get away with it." Levin asked the rapper about the existence of "hip-hop cops," officers who are target hip-hop artists. Offset replied, "The hip-hop police? Oh yeah, they're real, for sure." See the full clip here.

(Radio.com) Miley Cyrus has released her new break up single called "Week Without You". The song comes from her upcoming album, Younger Now, which is due out Sept. 29.

"I know that I gave you my heart, but you stomped it to the ground," Cyrus sings on the chorus. "And that's what got me wondering what is like, to not have you around."

"This writing process has been a really different experience because I've never put out an album this way," she said in a prepared statement. "People have been asking me, 'is this like a re-introduction of yourself?'"

"But it's not that at all," she continued. "Actually, it's more like, I am this person who embraces all my past selves. This album is the most me for right now that I can be." Listen to the song here.

Blake Shelton Announces New Album 'Texoma Shore'

(Radio.com) Blake Shelton has announced a new studio album, which will be entitled "Texoma Shore". Shelton's new album will follow the release of his most recent single, "I'll Name the Dogs."

"YEEEHAWW who's ready for some more new music??!!" Shelton posted alongside the cover art for the new full-length. "#TexomaShore coming at y'all November 3rd, preorder TOMORROW!"

The announcement came after a series of hints, which turned out to be directions to (you guessed it) Lake Texoma. "When you listen to the record it will go from something traditional to something that will make your head spin back to something even more traditional," Shelton said of the new project. "That's just what you can expect from one of my albums. At this point in my career it's always good for me to try something different, with different sounds, and I think you'll hear hints of that on this record."

"I've explored about every part of country music you can explore and it seems like I always keep coming back to my roots, which is traditional country music," he continued. Check out Blake's announcement here.

Gucci Mane Targeted By Animal Rights Protestors

(Radio.com) Gucci Mane's book The Autobiography of Gucci Mane came out Tuesday (Sept. 19) and the rapper visited a New York City Barnes and Noble to sign copies and meet fans.

He expected to calmly share his journey from prison to the Billboard charts but instead, the rapper was accosted by animal rights protestors. A man (posing as a fan) waited in line for face time with Gucci but as he approached the rapper, he revealed his actual intentions.

"Word on the street is that you're going vegan, brother," the protestor said to Gucci, as he whipped out a cloth sign. "But you can't be vegan if you keep wearing that fur!"

A female protestor in line joined the man in a chant of "Shame on Gucci--animal abuser!" Read more here.

The legal documents referenced a Facebook post that showed an image of John Lennon holding lemons, with the Polish company's logo underneath. The company also developed ads that used Lennon's iconic round glasses and the words "Let It Be."

After being served with the legal papers, the start-up company agreed to change its name. "All of us involved with this product are start-ups and we couldn't take on someone who is worth many many millions," said Mr. Lemonade Alternative Drinks founder Karol Chamera. Read more here.

Logic's '1-800-273-8255' Praised by Tommy Tutone Singer

(Radio.com) Once upon the time in 1982, Tommy Tutone's biggest hit, "867-5309/Jenny," hit its peak position of No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now, Tommy Tutone's lead singer, Tommy Heath, has come out to give his seal of approval and pass the telephone hit song torch to rapper Logic for "1-800-273-8255."

It's quite the achievement, as "867-5309/Jenny" was so ubiquitous during its chart and radio run that the band handled multiple complaints from people saddled with that phone number in real life.

"I think it's a good public service message," Heath told Billboard about Logic's track, which has broken the record for the highest-charting song with a phone number in its title. "It's evocative. I like to hear any kind of positive message coming out of music…I'm all for it." Read more here.
