Singled Out: Gears' Face Down
. "Face Down" was actually one of the last songs that we tracked for the EP. This was actually a more "on the spot" kinda thing, where a lot of the previous tracks were passed back and forth and collaborated on before actually getting into the studio. Unfortunately, in many cases, it's really just not accurate. Even more specifically, its about when you have that "seeing red" moment where you just can't censor yourself. That point where something has thrown you off your Social Media Game, whether it be emotion, alcohol, drugs, etc. So, you take to social media to just let it all out, and instantly, the "real" you at that moment slips out, usually more like breaks through the wall like Kool-Aid man! Then, when the smoke clears and regret hits you, you take that post, tweet, status, whatever it is down. The fact is, people still saw that glimpse of the situation. You'll never truly erase it. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the band and EP right here!
