Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Queen Rule Classic Rock Awards

The event was staged on Wednesday (Nov. 11) at the legendary Roundhouse venue in London, with Iron Maiden taking home the album of the year honor for their new 2-disc effort "The Book Of Souls" and AC/DC winning the "Band Of The Year" honor. The event saw Joe Satriani present Queen's Brian May with the "Living Legend Award" on behalf of his trailblazing band. Previous "Living Legend" recipients have included Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Gregg Allman and ZZ Top, among others. Led Zeppelin nabbed the "Reissue of the Year" trophy thanks to the Page-supervised reissue of the band's catalog in Deluxe Box form. Alice Cooper's Welcome to My Nightmare, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, was bestowed the "Classic Album" honor.
