(Radio.com) Like Sia and other musicians, Blur's frontman Damon Albarn collaborated with Adele while she worked on what would become her new record 25. Shortly before she officially announced that new music was imminent, Albarn spoke with The Sun about their time in the studio.

In the interview, he admitted he didn't think she would use the tracks they worked on together, but he also had a few choice words about her current state. "The thing is, she's very insecure. And she doesn't need to be, she's still so young" (via Spin).

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Adele opened up about those comments. "It ended up being one of those 'don't meet your idol' moments," she said. "And the saddest thing was that I was such a big Blur fan growing up. But it was sad, and I regret hanging out with him."

"None of it was right," she continued about the songs Albarn contributed. "None of it suited my record. He said I was insecure, when I'm the least-insecure person I know. I was asking his opinion about my fears, about coming back with a child involved--because he has a child--and then he calls me insecure?"

Even though Adele didn't end up using the tracks Sia collaborated on either, she had a much better time working with the singer. Read more here.
