Duran Duran Donating Eagles Of Death Metal's 'Save a Prayer' Cover Proceeds

(Radio.com) Following the devastating attacks in Paris on Friday (Nov. 13), fans of Eagles of Death Metal have began a campaign to get the band's cover of Duran Duran's "Save a Prayer" to the top of the U.K. charts. The song is making waves and has already hit number one on iTunes and Amazon.

Duran Duran frontman Simon LeBon responded to a tweet from the campaign's Twitter account on Monday (Nov 16) to announce that all proceeds raised by the single will be donated.

The band is currently considering which charity will receive the funds, The singer wrote: "@EODMforNo1 @DuranDuran will donate all proceeds due to us, from this version. Considering options that are useful, peaceful & uniting." See the tweet and check out a live performance here.
